Chef Tina's Classic Vanilla Panna Cotta

Ingredients:
Equipment: Small Sauce Pot, Small Mixing Bowl, Whisk, Fine Mesh Strainer, Glass or Container to Set Panna Cotta In
- 250ml Milk
- 250ml Heavy Cream
- 100 - 125g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Gelatin Powder
- 2 tbsp Cold Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Method:
- Place gelatin powder in a mixing bowl and add water and mix until incorporated. Let sit for 5 mins.
- Place all other ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a simmer.
- Add gelatin mixture (it will be solid) and heat until dissolved.
- Once sugar and gelatin have dissolved, strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
- Pour into containers or glasses and allow to set for at least 4 hrs or overnight in the fridge.
- Serve with seasonal fruit!
- Serves 4-6
