Ground Beef Nems

Ingredients:
- 400g kefta (ground beef)
- 1 red onion
- 3 different colours of bell peppers
- 200g mushrooms
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoon of soya sauce
- salt, pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 200g vermicelli
- Juice of half a lemon
- Phyllo pastry
Method:
- In a large sauté pan, sauté all the vegetables and ground beef. Then add spices and other seasonings.
- Cut your phyllo pastry to the desired size, place filling and vermicelli in center and roll into a cigar shape.
- Place the prepared rolls on parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 350F for about 20 minutes, turning them over for an additional 10 minutes or until golden. Alternatively, the rolls could be deep-fried or shallow-fried in a pan.
