Sales Associate / Interior Design

Positions: Sales Associate / Design – Cannery Lane location

Who better to sell a new set of high-end cookware than a Chef?   The same rule applies at our new  Lakehouse Cannery Lane furniture showroom.   Our Interior Design professionals enjoy the easiest sales process due to their experience, knowledge, and natural enthusiasm.  Their sales are made simply by educating and informing like-minded customers.

We’re seeking accredited Interior Design professionals to work with our clients in our exciting new Cannery Lane space.   You’ll be joining a design-driven sales team passionate about all things interior design and home décor. Our Lakehouse Cannery Lane store features dozens of medium to high-end home décor brands curated to reflect the Okanagan lifestyle.   

Your Design Objectives:

  • Work as part of a sales team, leading and achieving sales goals.

  • Prepare quality presentations to assure client retention    

  • Coordinate timelines, documents, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • We’ll help you generate extensive Product Knowledge to expertly source furniture and décor accessories

  • Deliver unique experiences by engaging customers interior design enthusiasm and sharing techniques and tricks of the trade.  

  • Utilize in-home consultations and space planning skills to help clients understand their interior spaces and better meet their objectives

  • Collaborate with store Managers to ensure Lakehouse sale goals are on track

Requirements:

- Previous sales experience is an asset

- Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA Accredited Program.

- Space planning skills

- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite

- Interior Design experience preferred
